Stock fuel system

At what point does the stock fuel system become a restriction? How much power can it support and what's a good upgrade? I just want to know for future referance. Thanks.

Re: Stock fuel system

typically, the stock fuel pump can hold any kind of head/cam combo yo do. i'm pretty sure the fuel pump is rated to 450 hp. the injectors, however, don't quite live up to that without overloading the injectors. usually, u can use stock injectors on cam only cars, and some lighter head/cam cars. to be general, good modifications are 30lb inejctors and a walbro 255gph fuel pump. obviously, depending on your application, you choose injector sizes accordingly.

Re: Stock fuel system

The lines and rail are good to more power than most of us could hope for with the lines giving in first.

That's good news. I figured it would be a nightmare.
