Crane 10308 or K-Motion K800 valve springs are good springs for the CC306. The beehive (918) springs will also work well.

why quote me?cause i want to do it correctly!he has many miles on these heads, just toss some springs on there it will be fine!!!! i think i would be concerned with loose guides,or how about making sure the retainer to guide clearance is sufficient.i rather be safe than sorry...

i'm running EX-612's w/ my cc306 for many miles now and many 6500 rpms pull...they are rated to .600 and the cc306 w/ 1.6 rr does .544 and .576
i just installed them with the heads on the car and everything, didn't check the height, or use shims or anything. no problems yet!
