Stock windage tray removal

Hey everyone, i have a quick technical question for you guys. I purchased a Milodon 30909 oil pan for my 95 z28 and was curious if i should remove the factory windage tray when installing this pan with the built in windage tray? if i remove the factory windage tray is there a chance of me inadvertently loosening the main studs when removing the tray nuts? thanks jason

There is no way you could loosen the mains while removing the tray. The studs are way too tight for that.

You won't loosen the mains that way. If it says to remove the stock tray, then you should do it. If you think it should stay on, then call Milodon and ask.
