stumble

for a while now my car feels like it has no power under 2k rpms. it feels like it is stumbling. i figure it could be plugs. now today for the second time i start my car after its sat for a while and the rpms are all over the place like it cant figure out where to idle. it also had a sort of loud pulley sound coming from the center of the engine...hopefully not the opti. anyways i let it warm up while its doing that then drive it and it eventually gets back to normal all day. help me out here guys because i want to solve the problem before i get stranded.

check your Plug Wires... could be bad.

If you have headers.. could have burnt one.
if you dont... just check plugs and wires anyway, they were always my culprit.

Yeah I am assuming mine will be plug wires becuase there is nothing else left to check! A guy I know had SLP headers and he burnt plug wires every other week!

I had that problem before and new plugs and wires fixed it. Was a problem with hesitation between 1500-2000 rpms. Once i kicked it past 2000 it was fine. Check yer coil wire too.
