STUMBLE/SPUTTER fixed!!
I was one of the unlucky LT1 owners that had the infamous "stumbling", sputtering car. After many thousands spent i ACCIDENTALLY found my problem. I was installing my electric fuel pressure gauge w/ my friend and when we went to test it of the Fuel line right before the Fuel Solenoid and FPSS. When i turned the key to the ON position to prime the fuel pump the 4AN line started spitting fuel through the thread. This would explain the raw fuel smell that would come into the car when the car was sputtering like a train. Well we yanked off that 4AN line and ran another one and now the problem is fixed, no more stumbling, gas mileage is 10X better and the car rips ***. Just a heads up for all the stumbling/sputtering LT1's.....check your fuel lines, even if you dont have nitrous there may be a very small leak somewhere.......get an electric fuel pressure gauge. My car is fixed and good luck to the rest of you. Hope this helps a little.
P.S. On Freescan all my sensors checked out OK, which puzzled me even further. sensors cant pick up a fuel leak.

same
The same kinda of thing was going on with my car. It turned out it was the fuel pump only putting out 20-25 PSI. I never knew a fuel pump could just lose presure with out stopping all the way. So ditto if ur car stubles get someone to check that fuel presure. It should be betwen 41-47PSI
