have you checked any ignition components? wires, fuses, etc?

I checked the Injector/Ignition fuses and they were good. I just pulled one of the wires off, went and bought a spark plug and put it in the wire, grounded the plug and had the key turned. I am getting fire to the plugs. The thing I dont know about is the plug I tried was brand new and the plugs in the block could be gunked up and wont fire. Possible?

My next idea was to get a fuel line disconnect tool and pull the line that goes to the Rails and run the car to see if fuel is getting up to the rails. My only thought about that however is the pressure tester I bought had a pressure release button and when pressed it would squirt out the fuel that had been brought up to it.

I am also going to try and get to the injectors to make sure they arent clogged up.

Any ideas I should try before I do this? Should I try other things first?

It will be awhile before I can do this, Ive got to help a friend get his car pulled over to the parking lot also. So any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok guys, I tested for spark, and get spark. I pulled the fuel lines that goto the Rails and they get fuel all the way up. The gas that comes out is clear with some yellow though.

Any IDeas?

Also, What do I need to do to get to the injectors?

I would guess your plugs are scrap. Also your pump is pretty weak, you will have to change it.Another possibility is the injectors are gummed up.I would do things in that order.Live and learn.

Pulling a couple plugs today to see what they look like.

The Hanes Manual says the pump should push 41-47PSI which the car does do. Still sound like its weak?

Im going to try and get to the injectors also today.

I believe there is a sock of sorts on the pick up on the fuel pump to keep the large junk from getting to the filter. With the fuel filter being so clogged, you might have to remove the pump and clean the sock or replace the fuel pump.

I know removing the tank is a bunch of fun so replacing the pump might be a better plan. Good luck
