stupid question

stupid question

i know this is going to be a stupid question, but i just bought a set of msd wires. the set came with 10 wires. i know 8 go to the cylinders and the 1 for the coil, but what the he!! does the last wire go to? i can't figure it out for the life of me. i told you all, stupid question...thanks for any responses..

Maybe the guy at MSD who packed up the box knows you're gonna melt one on the headers, and threw in a spare!

Yeah i got 10 with my MSD's. 8 for the plugs and then 2 really short onesone is obviously for the coil but i have no idea what the other short one is for.

Both of the short wires are for the coil it just depends on witch one you want to ues...

msd wires

the two coil wires are for diff.reasons the wires cover all lt1 f-bodys the obd2 car uses a different coil then the obd1 car thats why you are given two coil wires the other 8 are the same

Yeah the 2 short ones are for obd1 coils which have 2 connections and the obd2 only have a single.

totaly not a dumb question. best question ever, before i read this i was wondering the same thing
