Stupid question. I don't need guide plates do I?

Installing the heads tonight, however, the studs are 7/16 and have guide plates. I'm using the LT4 1.6 rocker rollers which I believe are self-aligning. I know I have to swap the studs to the 3/8's but I can do away with the guide plates correct? Its on a '95 T/A so I do have the hardened push rods already I believe.

Thanks and sorry for the stupid question.
