Take offs, A.K.A. launching

IM getting used to my A4 are their any tips to getting off the line nicely in an A4 other than hitting the gas hard enough but too hard not to spin the tires too much ? because in the M6 it was rev to 2000 rpm's and let the clutch go is their a certain sweet spot in the A4?

Depends on mods/tires/suspension/stall/etc. More info on your setup please.

Sticky track and drag radials, sometimes I just nail it.

Most of the time I stall it up, hold the brakes good and rev it, usually around 1500 rpms, to the point where your tires are about to slip. Then when you launch, let off the brake and floor it.

You gotta get a feel for it, or watch your tach. Easy to practice and find out at what rpm the tires slip. Of course if you get spin let off a bit. Also try rolling into the throttle a bit next time, don't just floor it.
