Teflon Valve seals difficult to slide on valve????

tore off my y pipe to see if one bank of cyliners was burning more oil than the other bank. drivers side clean, passanger side smoking blue...

order CompCams .530x11/32 teflon valve seals...( I verified the size in AFR's catalog from when i purchased the heads and made sure summit sent me the right size as well). Now i can not get the teflon seals to fit over the valve. Are they normally a pain to slide on????

The easiest way to install them is...make sure you have the valve tip condom on(you can cut it down to just below the keeper groove), put a little lube inside the seal, and use something flat to push on the top of the seal to seat it over the stem, if you try and use the lower section of the seal you can break it off. Once you have the seal started and the top of the stem is flush with the top of the seal, then you can use a socket or something that will locate off the bottom section of the seal to push it down onto the guide.
