There may be a new lifter option

As was mentioned, a search might help. I don't believe you have caught on as to why a rev kit is not needed if your valvetrain is set up properly. Unless I'm missing something here with your last question?

I think maro z28 thinks the tie bar has similar function to a rev kit, and he is wondering the functional differences...
From my limited knowledge in this respect I would say that:
Tie bars only hold the lifters from spinning in the lifter bore and as such have less chance of causing damage is lets say you bent a rod or break a valvespring...
Rev kits add springs and retainers to the valvetrain to as stated above to bandaid an improperly setup valvetrain and allow it to spin a little higher. But I haven't looked into them beyound that so can't say anything more...

For those of us that live in TX and want to avoid tax along with the ridiculous shipping and handling fees of SDPC, you can order these from BYUNSPEED for $217.85 shipped.

I would imagine that the main reason that they don't have tie bars is because they were designed for the LSx motors that use the plastic lifter trays. It's just lucky for us LTx guys that lifters are one of the few parts that interchange between LTx's and LSx's It's nice to finally have an alternative to the Morels at a reasonable price even if they don't use tie bars.
After learning about these, I sold my set of stock lifters yesterday that I was gonna use in my new LT1. I figured since I'll be spinning to 6800-7K, these would be worth a try
