These valve covers worth getting?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2436680875

Anybody, they look like a good fit, don't know if they will clear or not though.

Thanks

Looks like theyll fit, look good, but I have a hard time trusting anything manufactured and sold on ebay. You just never know what you really are getting, pictures can tell huge lies. Up to you, not that expensive.

Or if you want to get any centerbolt valvecover you want you could buy my low mount accessory bracket off me

Hehe, that sounds good, where does it mount it?

I'm getting a h/c combo right now, car will be down for 3 months or so while I do that and the M6 swap. Using a high lift cam so I need some clearance... hmmm, sheet metal valve covers sound good

Any pics of your relocation bracket?

Right on thanks, yeah the guy selling these ones has about 10 different auctions of the same part, plus a bunch of other merchandise any "speed shop" would sell.

I'm not one for the polished look, but anything is better than stock, hopefully they will clear the cam's lift. Maybe get the outside ceramic coated or something.

Sure do, a few of them actually.

Obviously you have to sacrifice AC, but not power steering like other low mount alternator brackets.

I'm using GMPP aluminum covers on mine. I did have to "clearance" the alternator a little, but it wasn't a real big deal. It only required a hand file.

There's pictures of the covers on my web page. Just click on the 2 top left pictures on the opening page.

Someone from the local Camaro club bought those exact ones, and he said they were hell to get on.

I have a pair of those from that same guy I'd be willing to sell. New in the box. I'd take 50 plus shipping...

Later

Maybe the LT4 overs would be worth the money, or what about B&B Fabrications?
