Btw, routing coolant through the TB to improve emissions is only ONE reason GM did it. There are other's, including driveability. Warmer air also = slower perceived throtle response, which = better driveability (from a grandma point of view )

I,m sorry guys but I wanna see where you read that GM routed hot coolant through the TB to help emissions.
I have been wrong before lord knows but I just don,t believe that was it.
Why didn,t they run it through the base of the carbs if this helped? It just don,t make sense.
Superchargers and turbos benefit greatly from intercoolers which I can guarantee you don,t heat up the intake charge.
It goes against everything we have learned.

Warm air would help the engine get to temperature quicker, and hence burn cleaner.
