Throwout bearing
#2
If you foot is on the clutch, there shouldnt be any chatter. The throw out bearing itself should make a different bird type chirping noise, that should change with rpms, that may stop with you foot on the clutch. Sometimes when throwout bearings are new they make a bit of noise, if its real noticable, then its possible you got a bad bearing. After my new clutch i had to get a new bearing cause it was teribly loud. Some people on the board have had 5 or more before they got a completly silent one.

Yeah, this one can be heard over the exhaust an all from 10+ feet away. It's a really bad rattle, but no biggie cause I'm going to replace the clutch withing 1-2 months as funds permit.
Do you think it's safe to be driving around?
