Time for new WP??

Yesterday I was driving home and my car overheated, first time it has done that. So I pull off and let it cool down, then drive home with no problems. The car has never overheated before and has not done it since, but I've only driven it once. Could this be the start of my WP failing on me? Im startin to think that maybe I had something covering my radiator and it feel off when I stopped, but I am not sure.

Might be a sticking thermostat.... Generally, the water pump will start making noise or the weep hole will leak..

Have you checked the fluid level?????

If it was me, replace thermostat and have the system flushed..JMO

It's not leaking any fluid anywhere, and I don't hear any sounds from the pump. I was going to have it flushed the next time I get paid and have it refilled with the orange stuff because I know whenever I added antifreeze it wasn't the right stuff. I'll probably replace the thermo too...even though it's only 4 months old, good thing they are cheap! Fluid level is good, checked that this morning.

I was thinking the thermo because last night when I popped the hood I could here the antifreeze bubbling in the hose going to the thermo, but not going in. I have been driving my car all day today and haven't had any problems.
