Timing at idle
#16
Talked to my old boss that runs the engine test lab at my last job today at a bbq. He said o2's are sensitive to too much exhaust pressure. They have a chamber that is fed constant oxygen from the atmosphere through the wiring harness. Too much backpressure like in a turbo app according to him will make the unit exagerate especially at rich/lean readings which the oem pcm keeps you constantly in only averaging around stoich. Said if you put them downstream of the turbo they should work fine for you again.
I know you're having good luck with the tuning open loop right now but i just thought i'd get that out there. Never hurts to pass on info.

The open loop tuning has been going good, but this morning I was beating on the car a little bit and now I seem to be rich to the point the car will barely idle. Its rich all over though. I havent done any investigating yet, hopefully its something simple.
