TOO lower or not too lower my Z?
I have new Bilsteins and hotchkis springs waiting to go but i also have jet hot long tubes on the way and i was wondering if lowering it 1 inch is really going to suck with those headers? Also how do you think it will sound with those headers and no cat and GMMG????? can i hit 300 rwhp with that mod and a few bolt ons pulley cold air air foil dyno tune from ls1speed mass air grantelli lt4 km since iam be getting headers.

i don't know about the mods, but a suggestion for the lowering springs, if you are gonna go to the track at all and do suspension mods later on, with the lowering springs you'll be throwing off the geometery...which can be fixed but it just takes more work to set it up the right way...just my .02

Why do you want to lower your car? For the look? It's more expensive, but you could just get bigger rims and smaller tires. That would really look nice. Or do you want it lowered for performance? I'm not sure about auto-x, but like QuasarBlue94Z28 said, it will mess up your geometry. That makes for crappy launches. And if you are going with LTs, you will be hurtin' for ground clearance.

The Jet Hot LTs are supposed to have better clearance than the Hookers, so I think you'd be okay ground clearance wise. You don't have to drop the car to make it handle better though. You can get stiffer springs and bigger bars at stock ride height. I've got 1LE springs and 35/21 mm bars and the car feels just as tight as it did when I had Eibach pro kits on there. Of course it looks better lowered but for me it wasn't worth the loss of ground clearance with my Hooker LTs.
