i have a 93 Z and i had my tranny rebuilt, i had a shift kit put in and a 2000 stall. but most times my tc doesnt lock for some reason?? i have access to a tech 1 being that i work at a gm dealership. i connected the tech 1 to the diagnostic connector and ran some tests on it, the computer said it locked once but it really didnt. the scan tool said yes it was locked but when i tapped the bracke the rpm's did not jump up at all yet the scan tool said that the tcc DID unlock it. im at a loss here. i have orderd a tcc solinoid in hopes that it will help me out. also would the governor do anything to this?? my tranny shifts at 4500 rpm, so i now have a 3.4 V-6 gov. to try to fix this other prob. sorry for the lengthy post, but its on this subject sorta. Thanx for ANY help any1 could offer.
