tps voltage
I bought a 58mm TB that was suppose to be for a lt1 but it is for a tuneport and I was wondering if they had the same tps voltage reading because everything hooks upexcept for that and I was thinking of trying to convert to a tuneport tps if they had the same voltage reading.

When I checked mine it swept from .7x to 5.2x Volts. I think the lt1 just takes the value it sees from the car as long as it is within a certiain range and uses that as the "0".. I thought the IAC was why the TPI throttle bodies wouldn't work?

You can just slot the holes in the stock, non-adjustable TPS sensor if you need to adjust it for some reason.
Before you start changing things, make sure the TB is set up correctly. Make sure it is idling exactly on spec (as measured off the PCM, not the tach), and that the IAC counts are between 20-40. Only then should you look at TPS voltage. The PCM will accept any value between 0.20-0.90V and baseline that value as 0% TPP. Some people feel that they get better results with the TPS closed voltage in the range of 0.50-0.67V, and if you want to adjust it, that's when you slot the holes.
