Traction control rear.

I am buying a rear from a car that had traction control but my car does not have it. Is there anyway i can disable it or take it off? what will happen if i just put it on as it sits?

Thanks ,sean

The problem will be if you want ABS to work. The traction control rear will have the sensors on each rear axle, whereas the ABS only that you probably have, has only one sensor in the differential. So you won't have ABS and you won't have traction control.

You can install it as is, use you existing rear brake lines, and you will be fine (minus ABS). At that point you can disconnect a fuse to turn off the ABS light.
