Re: Trick Flow Elbow

some people say that they get heat soak and that takes power away, but I think thats B.S. and they are trying to justify not buying one for their car. I bought one, because the stock piece is vfugly, and it looks cheesy. I think its retarted to shell out $$$ for a 1le piece thats just as ugly as the stock piece.

Summit Racing, Jegs, and Year One all sell different versions from different manufacturers. Mine is a Vortech piece.

Re: Trick Flow Elbow

From a visual standpoint, I think it looks pretty good under the hood. However, the price of the elbow is a little high.

Re: Trick Flow Elbow

I think the reason it gets hot is because of the TB, if you do the TB bypass it shouldnt get hot anymore. Since the tb is much cooler.

Re: Trick Flow Elbow

Well here is a link for one, but the auction has ended and I can't find anymore with a buy it now...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-97...QQcmdZViewItem
But you can try and search, or just contact the seller.

Hope this helped,

Word. If I pop the hood right after a long drive home the elbow is cool to the touch.

Re: Trick Flow Elbow

I have the ebay/mojo motorsports elbow. It's not as pretty as the polished elbows but it looks good enough for me. Oh and all the heatsoak bs is just that, bs. Mine never gets hot, just barely warm.
