TrickFlow Heads for LT1?

I have home ported lt1’s and they flow just under 280cfm w/ the cam that I had. now i have (comp 242/248@.05) that’s just not going to be enough air. So I’m going aftermarket. Ive been trying to figure out which heads to get. I have seen the afr's and some others. but cant find pricing for the afr's. from what ive been told there pricy dose anyone know how much they are? I just need the basic stage1 lt1 or lt4 set they will be home ported.

The others I looked at are the T/F. dose anyone know how much room they have for additional porting and what they flow out of the box? I cant seem to find any flow numbers for them.

Any other recomendations would be good!

Thanx
-brian

TFS's have always been know for being able to flow killer numbers, these are essentially their SBC head with revised coolant passages, the SBC heads have easily seen over 300cfm at .600 with a decent port job. big ports are in the 320+range....

i have a set of the t/f heads, they are identical to their 23* regular sbc heads, the flow for them are 253/.500 and 254/.600. there is lots of room for porting them, mine are flowing 306/.600 after some minor clean up around the bowls. if you are using stock pistons your compression will drop considerably since the heads have 62cc chambers.

Do you port heads for a living?

280~ is an impressive number for LT1 castings. What lift was your peak at?

What were your exhaust #'s at similar lift?
