TRYING TO IMPROVE SPEED STAGE 2 CLUTH? other suggestions??

I'm currently looking for ways to increase HP nd torque I was advised to upgrade my clutch to a stage 2 ...is this a bad idea? Nd helpful suggestions to increase speed is greatly appreciated

Camaro conv. Z28 manual tran
LT1
170,000+ miles
Removed cati
Exhaust system
Changed air intake

Engine mod suggestions would be helpful too

Changing your clutch won't produce more HP or torque, unless your current clutch is slipping badly.

I'd suggest you split this into two separate posts - one in the "Drivetrain" forum regarding the clutch, and the other here on LT1 Based Engine Tech, regarding the engine upgrades.

To get meaningful answers regarding the engine upgrades, you have to provide some sort of indication of your budget and your goals for power, both short range and long range. Also provide details of the "exhaust system" and the "air intake" you apparently already installed.
