Tune Question (driver side rich & pass side lean)
#16
Thats what I was talking about. Its for aftermarket t.b.'s though, not stockers. I did this to mine and it seemed to get worse. Im wondering if I dont have some of those passages in the manifold plugged up with egr crap. I remember when I cleaned the manifold out, there was a lot of gunk in there. Im beginning to hate this car. Sometimes at cell 16 ,idle, one side is 108 and one side is 160. WTF??!!

When I went to do this I saw how dirty my TB was so I decided to clean it. Cleaning it helped my problem alot, but did not fix it completely. The two sides are still not even but both of them are running rich now, instead of one lean and one rich

pull the pcv valve out and put your finger on it see if it has vacume and clicks when you put finger on it.. might take it out and clean it with throttle body cleaner or gas.
dont know if it has anything to do with the problem or could make the sides diff... in any case may help

I havent gotten to take the manifold back off, but I was thinking the same thing. I did the IAC passage mod, and it seemed to help, but its still pretty wide spread once the car is hot. I did notice when its cold, the blm's are closer, and while driving they are closer. In cell 16 though they're still pretty wide. I also changed the plugs, wires and put a different opti w/ MSD cap and rotor on it.
My pvc hose to the valve cover is very loose in the grommet ive noticed now. Wonder if that has something to do with it.
