tunerpro with 1994 z28

I just downloaded tunerpro and I was downloading the bin definition file from their website and I noticed it said "Requires 3rd party software to upload tune"
I would just plug it in and try it but I haven't even ordered a cable yet

So can I even change anything on my ecm with tunerpro? All I really want to change is like rev limiter, tire size, gear ratio, shift firmness, and possibly injector size...

I've never done any of this before so if anyone has any tips I'de like to hear them. also if anyone has some instruction on how to do everything it would be awesome!
