Tuning Quesiton....Which one??
as the title states........i am going to be getting a tune here pretty soon. My quesiton is what kind of experiences have you all had with MADZ28 and PCMFORLESS???
--with MADZ28 i can do a obd1 conversion (which i like because i will be able to tune later, on my own w/lt1 edit)
--with PCMFORLESS i see a lot of proclaimed dyno proven gains from their tuning on their website....which i really like too
So my question to you guys is which one is the best??? What kinds of performance gains have U all seen from either one and which one is more pleasant to deal with?? And which offers a Better all around tune??
Thanks guys, i appreciate it

Which ever you go to you should be happy.
FYI we do the OBD1 conversion too.. I'm pretty sure Bryan was the first or one of the first guys to offer it as a swap like 4-5 years ago.

i dont feel like driving 2 1/2 hrs to thunderracing and paying them $550 for a tune that would net me maybe 5whp and 5wtq more......than if i bought one from madz28 or pcmforless for a FRACTION of the cost
now if i had a big head and cam package with nitrous..........thunderracing would be a no brainer, but with only full exhaust and intake....and a couple other things this is the BEST route IMO. Plus pcmforless will re-tune it for $50+shipping anytime u update mods (this is my understanding)
soooooo...........yeah that would be nice i guess, but a waste of money IMO.
just MY $.02
p.s.--besides thats all a "real shop" would do anyways (and didnt u mean reputable shop???), is do a reflash, except they have the added benefit of real time dattaloging and wideband sensors where as a bought pcm doesnt

Re: Tuning Quesiton....Which one??
The mail-order LT1 tuning works great with known engine components and saves big bucks on the dyno! I was running 13.30s to 13.50s, I added the LT4 Hot cam along with a PCMforLess tune. That moved me to 12.70s! I couldn't be more happy with Bryan's PCMforLess tuning.

Considering we are supplying something like 40 dynoshops with LT1, L98, and LS1 tuning you might get one of our tunes anyway...
