I'm interested if the price is right. I like the idea of a reliable, streetable system that makes gobs of power when you need it.

Hey, the guy said he wanted to race a single digit car. And I said we could set it up.

End of ****ing story man!

If I want to be a **** on my website, I WILL! No one says anything about my family. I am not a complete ***, I say what I want when I feel like it. I didn't decide what was discussed. I decided that no one was talking **** about my family. Those are mine. So, there. You can catch me on the Nostalgia Pro Stock tour this year, watch for me...I'll be the short guy driving the 200+mph pro stock Oldsmobile.

Do you guys street race much? Because, in street racing, there is a lot of **** talking.

If a guy has to talk **** to get a race, then so be it. It works.

For the guy talking about the Lingenfelter car...

Check out this link...

I never said I wanted to make 900rwhp on a stock LT1. This would be a heavily modified car.

This car went 6.0s in the 1/8th on pump gas.

It is possible. That stuff about family must be on the side somewhere, I didn't catch that on this thread. Did he use a FAST computer on the TT LT1? I agree about the forced induction forum, give it a ring there too. Good luck.

Quick response... thanks! Will you're kit work with the stock computer or will it require the FAST as well. For the stock bottom end, I can't imagine the numbers rendering the stock computer useless.

I would be interested if the price wasn't out of line. Mine would require some custom parts as my lt1 is in an 88 iroc.

You know it just dawned on me... But yes, the Lingenfelter 427 Twin Turbo C5 Corvette is making in upwards of 800+ horsepower now. Reading the link LPE sent about the condition of John also had a note about the car running an 8.95@153mph in the 1/4

That kind of horsepower and reliability is consting in upwards of 50K plus dollars.

I just dont know if you can get 900 reliable horsepower out of an LT1 for a modest price. Since LPE is just about getting that kind of power from the LS1 I dont know if it is even possible for a "streetable" application.

IMO, if it can be done with a regular SBC, than it can be done with an LT1.

I'm going to be installing the Charged Air System twin turbo kit on my car and my goal is too be at 750rwhp @ 15lbs of boost and a tiny cam.

if thats the same car motor trend had in their rag where they tested it against a Blue Angel (F18 Hornet), that car was streetable, it passed emmisions

you gotta remember that turbos are only present (for the most part) when your foot is in the accelerator

Went to the Charged Air Systems website and there was nothing there but radiators and intercoolers. No mention of any turbo kit. Granted, I saw the link on the LS1 site that brings you to the CAS Turbo kits, but their homepage doesn't have anything. How reputable is their company? How long have they been around?

Hey Juicy:

This looks great and I think it would go over VERY well.

What do you say we get you on as a paying advertiser of this site so you can plug this thing legitamately?

If you ask anyone here, there is no better place anywhere online to advertise for f-body stuff.

So, just e-mail us for ad rates and we'll get something rolling!

I am interested as well, in something, so long as it's reliable, well built/fabricated, and not overly expensive. I understand what it takes to get what you put into it, out of it...but a huge mark-up is what turns people off to stuff.

I would NEVER pay $6500 for the CAS system...that's outrageous, IMO. If you can sell something in the range of what a blower kit costs, then you will have a lot of business. People may choose the TTs over a blower if they're in the same price range.

Eric
