Ugh, more oil pressure woes, pressure is dropping at WOT now..

back from the dead. Did you ever get this fixed, or have any problems resulting of the oil pressure dropping?

Hey bro... he rebuilt the motor. Check his sig that lists his 355.

Just read the whole thread, some very good information!

He said in his second post that he bought the 355 from a member here and thats the engine he had oilpressure problems with!

the motor is perfectly fine. oil pressure problems were due to wrong info on how much oil to put in the new pan. runs a little less oil now and pressure is perfect. motor is strong. i should know, i helped put it together. i forget which pan it is. researched showed it to be a common issue with that pan.

No, it did not require a rebuild because of this. As said below by my friend, in this case it was just a matter of running 5.5 quarts instead of 7 quart. I was getting excessive windage with too much oil in the pan.

The 355 that this thread is about is still the one that's in my car to this day.
