ok so this is about my buddies 95 T/A since he cant get to a comp right now i am posting for him
he did a cam swap and converted to the double roller timing chain and electric waterpump
he drove all the way to the beach and back (about a 2 hour drive each way) for the beggining of the break in, then the day after he gets back he goes to his girlfriends house (about 20 mins away) on the way home one of the wires in the switch for the pump came off and he temp shot up to roughly 250 and he immediatly pulled over, let the car cool, fixed the pump and tried to start it and it would crank but not turn over, there is pressure in the fuel rails but no spark from the coil, any ideas why the water pump getting hot would effect the coil?
