Urgent Need Help With Timing Cover

hey guys. Im putting a cam in my car and I removed all the bolts from the oil pan so I dont tear my oil pan gasket but it seems like the gasket is glued or something to the timing cover. Is this common? How do I get it off without tearing it?

Yes it is common, and difficult to remove without tearing. I tore mine.
