Used seafoam to clean out engine before changing oil and it GELLED??!?

The oil I drained out turned to gel! I put a can in the crankcase and let it run for about 30 minutes, occasionally varying engine speed.
I drained while still hot.
Later that night when the oil cooled I noticed it was gel! It looks like skinned over pudding... WTF?

so I only put a third of a can of jello mix in my crankcase instead of a full can

I had no intentions of driving the vehicle with a full can in there... I wanted it completely flushed out. It is my work truck and the guys that had been using it hadn't changed the oil in a while. I wanted all the deposits gone. I put a can in the gas tank, a can in the crank case, and a can through the TB
