Useless poll! Does you lt1 leak?

Re: Useless poll! Does you lt1 leak?
Just enough to be irritating, and leave a couple drops per night. I don't mind the consumption, it's the mess it makes on the engine and motor mounts, etc.
Drove it to Chicago and back in 90+ degree weather, 80 mph the whole way, 3300 miles, got 24 - 26 mpg and didn't use lose enough oil to add a quart on the whole trip. Is that worth maybe 20 hours' work to fix a leak on the intake? I can't justify it.

Yes it leaks, I dont know where, but its either the rear of the intake manifold or rear main seal.
Although it does nicely coat alot of my undercarraige metals keeping them rust free.
I'll fix the rear main when the TC goes in, and the intake when the cam does.

There are lt1's that dont leak? maybe when they were sitting at the dealership. Ive had 2 Impala SS's and my current 96 z28 and all three leak. The camaro is easily the worst though. Rear main, head gasket, front timing cover gasket and crank seal, pinion seal in the diff also leaks.

My Z that I used to own leaked from every imaginable seal at one time or another, but as they started leaking I repaired it, so whoever owns that car now has a leak free Z.
My T/A leaked badly from the front and rear of intake, resealed it, problem solved. Low oil level sensor leaked, replaced it, problem solved. Now about once a week a drop will fall from where the pan meets the timing cover. Every other day a drop will fall from the rear main seal, I hate oil leaks but I can live with that. A rag and carb cleaner takes care of the small drips I have on the garage floor.

My 12-bolt leaks like a seive w/ a bad pinion seal and cover leak. Engine leaks only a bit between the bottom of the timing cover and oil pan. All other components behave nicely. It ain't a Chevy unless it's leaking somwhere!

Leaked oil ever since the day i bought it. Had the engine rebuilt and low and behold... The son of a gun still leaks. Only a drop or two every now and then
