Did you forget an "F" in there? I can only assume that it was supposed to read v6 & v8 A4 4th gen shifters.
Which part of the shifter is it your inquiring about? The handle? The shaft? The transmission?

I'm a bit unclear as to exactly what you'd like.

A V-8 has eight cylinders
A V-6 has six cylinders and a auto is a auto. No they are not the same

The auto shifters are the same for all engines 93-96, except for the ones that have the block for 1st gear (LT1s with 2.73s).

Same scenario for 97-02.
