Question valve guide seal( leaking)?

I have the teflon valve seals someone said that these seals will warp and leak , has anyone else ever heard of this before,I have the crane double springs for the LT1 the stock seals is too big to fit in the center of these springs,I have not took them apart yet too see, but I have a lot of oil ( or something on the plugs) they are wet looking , and black and have little specs of(I guess it's carbon) all over them, and the threads are wet with oil ,anyway if I find them to be leaking , is there any that i should I use, because I think that ( something on the heads ) had to be cut down for these to fit, or can anyone tell me what mite be causing this(if it is not the seals) thanks for any info

Cool

If you see oil and crud on the plugs, might be the intake manifold.Did you use felpro gaskit? Also ,did you let the car stand overnight for the sealant to cure?.This helped me.My02
