Question Valve guide seals for 93 LT1

Where to get a set of those? Searched AutoZone's website, but they don't seem to carry them. Summit has plenty, but they don't list any particular applications for them, just the dimensions etc.

These are for a stock 93 Z28.

TIA!

"guide" seals or "stem" seals? Call your local engine rebuilder and ask them what size seals. They might have them on hand since they do valve jobs. JMHO

Re: Valve guide seals for 93 LT1

Valve guide seals for the 93 LT1 heads are different than earlier models. It's possible to use the older type seals but the proper 93 LT1 seals fit better and seal better. I just replaced mine on my '93Z and they seal very well. They cost a few 8-10$ more and were available from my local Chev dealer. He ordered them for me - (2 days delivery). Try www.gm goodwrench.com if you have trouble locating the seals They are VERY helpful! Good Luck! 93ZTED
