lt4 spring example: if your install hieght is 1.78" and coil bind is 1.085"... that leaves you with 0.695" of lift... then you have to deduct 0.060" of lift for your green zone(which is the recommended distance from coil bind) which leaves you with .635" of lift with 1.5 rocker arms... now if you have 1.6 rockers then you must subtract an additional 0.034" from your lift... which would then leave you with 0.601" of lift...
and your cam has 0.525" of lift which would give you 0.076" of safety...
more than enough...
check my work guys, i think i got everything...

and 0.480" lift on the exhaust...
depending on what kind of money you want to spend and if you are going to install a bigger cam in the future has alot to do with the decision you will make...
if its money then i would get the lt4 springs...
if you are going to go bigger some day i would go with those 26918 beehive springs from comp...

Other options to beehives
Although I have the 26918s installed, I did seriously consider the
Isky 235-D springs first. If you want to save $$ the Iskys will do
the job with all the stock hardware. You can do a search for more
info.

Then get the beehives, more than enough spring. Plus you can use them down the road if you change cams. If they won't work with your next cam, then all I can say is, "damn that's a big cam".

Are you saying that if I get the Iskys I will not need anything else but the springs.I can just reuse my stock hardware.

i don't think the stock hardware is meant for a high rev definently not with springs with high seat pressure... i.e. 6000 and up

You can get the 26918 springs as said before and I'd recommend those if you can afford them. Make sure they'll work with the self-aligning rockers that come with that kit and get the +.050" hardware for the LT1 heads.
There is a nice kit from Crane that should work with that cam and plenty of others as well and it's cheaper. The main benefit to the 918's are that they're a much lighter spring.
