Valve Spring Tool question...

What valve spring tool is the easiest to use to change springs without removing the Heads?

With 141k miles in my odometer I think its a good time to do Valve stem seals, Springs, and roller rockers. I am thinking going to 1.7s if I can find a good set of springs.

if you have another person to help you then I would say the lever type is gonna be the easiest to use by far.. only down side is that youd still need one of those screw down compressors for under the cowl.

KD 3271 is the one I have. The nice thing about it is that you can remove the **** and use a wrench on it for more leverage. Its the same one Snap On sells. I got mine at NAPA, but they sell KD everywhere.

ya, try and find that KD tool somewhere locally. i rented the one from autozone, and took it back an hour later, it sucked and looked like it would break at any second. the KD tool is by far the best tool, unless you want to pay 60+ for a moroso lever type.
