valves?
i was looking at valves for the hell of it cause i have to put new valve seals in my car and while i was at it why not do a valve job and see what it costs for some better valves.. now the problem is, is what is overall length valve? there is a half a dozen different sizes and i have looked at a few different places and they say standard length but they are different from numbers then each other.. anyone know?

Those should all be standard length.
If you're going to get new valves, you should also check your install height of your springs and what you need for your cam. That way you can get more accurate about what spring pressures you want by getting either a longer or shorter valve instead of using shims.

The stock valvejob is pretty good, so make sure you have a good shop do any work otherwise it would be easy to endup with something worse. Stock valves are fine too. Frankly I think you are stuck a couple decades in the past ASSuming that everything stock needs to be replaced and reworked. Today there are lots of big name shops turning out stuff that is less than OEM quality. Afterall who has the biggest budget for R&D and equipment???
