Very low idle and stalls ??
I have a 94 Camaro z28 LT1 The car is bone stock. Just recently the car has started to idle extremely low around 500 and it will stall when you put it in gear. You can two foot the car and it runs great just a little pressure on the pedal. I replaced the opti a couple weeks ago and sprung for the ac delco part this time (Im tired of changing these).. and about five months ago it got a new iac due to me breaking it with the water pump changing the opti. This car runs GREAT It dont miss a beat. It just idles extremely low. Every now and then it will start up and idle fine as long as its idleing. but i shut it off turn it back on and its back to 500 rpm... I have been suspecting the computer in this car due to the cooling fans losing there switching signal coming from the computer (I bypassed it with a $20 cooling fan controller from autozone) and some random issues of the car wanting to spit misfire and not run while trying to start it and then fire right up a minute later.
P.S. When this car runs it runs great... 91000 miles on the car
New parts installed
Opti ac delco.. 3cheap ebay ones and finally chumped up for a ac delco...
Iac Cheap ebay
Radiator
water pump
Plugs
plug wires

Re: Very low idle and stalls ??
Is it an auto trans (550 RPM in gear, 650 RPM in neutral) or manual trans (800 RPM)?
You need to add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. That way the info is appended to the bottom of all your posts. Helps you get more accurate answers, faster.
Check the IAC motor, as suggested by Shoebox:

Then try the reset procedure (scroll down a few screens):

Have you had is scanned for codes?

I have not had it scanned for codes.. I have a obd1 code flasher tool from advanced. you plug it in and it flashs you the codes via ses light. When i plug this in i hear noises under the hood but i get no flashing lights. My neighber has a modis but he has it out on lone at the moment.
