Talking want to build 383

with 220,000 miles on my lt1 350 my oil pressure is dropping fast. before i ruin my block i want to take it out and stoke it. I NEED to know were to get the best pakages to build the stroker.

1) stroker kit 383- who were how much approx.

2) what is the best cam lifter set- who, were

3) heads & intake - can i have mine ported and run the 1.6rr & what size valves.

4) i would like to stay around 9.1 compression so i may add a blower later THANKS in advance for any help.

It's often best to have the machine work and short block assembly done at the same place and use the shop as the source for parts as well. There's a number of reasons for this, which I can go into if you like. But unless you are a skilled engine builder, with all of the necessary tools, equipment, and a proper garage, the results are often cheaper and better if it's done this way. That's how I do it, and I've been at this a while. I get back a completed shortblock minus cam, valvetrain, and acessories and finish the assembly myself.

Just IMHO.
