I let it warm up for about 2 minutes. Then I take it nice and slow for the first mile on the road, or until I see the coolant temp come up. Then it's WOT. 
I ease down the main road, check for cops then I lay the hammer down.
Anyways, on a typical day I let it warm up about 30 secs, and I'm really easy on it till it's about 160*
