Should the water pump propeller be moveable by hand? I can't get mine to turn, its been sitting for two years but there is no rust, maybe its locked and ill need a new one, just checking before I install it

Re: water pump

The old one I have here spins. Not free wheeling like a turbo impeller, but it spins.

Re: water pump

It should spin by hand. Not freely (because of the sealed bearing), but it should spin. If the bearing is locked up I would be weary about using it.
