A tip for all is to take a little of that grease you get with plugwires and coat the weatherpack seal at the opti wiring harness, that is where it is most vulnerable to water getting in, the grease will help seal it up tight.
Good info. The reason i'm running my LT4 ED chain was because i don't trust the electric pumps, they go out instantly unlike manual pumps which usually leak a little bit before they go. Also if your electric pump goes bad you can't get one at the local parts house. The opti isn't as weak as everyone says.
