Weird Ignition Problem

I have a problem with my car that only starts after it has been running for like 20 mins. It definately appears to be electronics related. When it starts happening, the car all of a sudden starts missing really bad, and will barely rev and backfires alot. It just keeps getting worse the longer it runs. But if I let the car cool down for a few hours it runs fine again for another 20 mins or so. I throw code 42 when it starts happening which is for the ignition module, I replaced the ignition module thinking it was the problem and it wasn't. My book also says to check the wire (the white one from the Ignition module to PCM pinout B5) going to the computer, that ohmed out fine. The next thing to check/replace is the OPTI and/or the PCM itself. Anyone have this problem before? BTW the missing is across the entire rev band. Opti is a few thousand miles old, and I have 2 replacements on hand.

Well Its not the Coil either, just changed that tonight and took it for a ride. I got almost 30 miles and it started happening again and left me stranded 10 miles from home. I'll have to go pick the car up before work tomorrow. Guess i will try the Opti next.
