weird problem, maybe you can help me out with it

I think i've posted this before a long time ago, either that or I asked about it on a chatroom, but I figured what the heck. Anyway, whenever I cold start my camaro, it starts right up. After its been running for a while, it cranks for like 5 seconds, maybe even sometimes longer. Its a real slow crank too. It's done this since I bought the car (May 2007). Also when I drive it after a while it will have a misfire, if im in 3rd gear or something it'l feel like the car is "bucking" around 2500 to 3000 rpm if I press on the gas hard enough.

My thunderbird had the same type of problem and what it needed was a major tuneup. The startup problem wasn't a part of it though. I wont be starting the car again till May because its in the garage for the winter and has been in there since early November.

Thanks for the help guys!

sounds like you may need a battery. Get it checked. or your alternator is not putting out enough. Check out all your ground wires and make sure they have good clean connections.

I know you hear this all the time but you may want to check the opti and think of replacing it. I had a problem with mine. She would start fine and drive fine when cold. But when she warmed up it would have problems and miss fire. And sometimes not even start after warmed up. So it could be a possibility

Slow starting could also be the result of your starter getting hot. It may be about to die on you (starter). I have seen it happen on cars that have headers with primaries that are close to the starter.
