well i blew the crap out of my opti

i mean used compressed air on it, not destroyed it. it seems to run better, but i still get a pop/backfire at really low speeds.

what does it mean when the engine rocks back and forth more than usual? you can tell the difference looking under the hood and feeling it through the seat, stick, pedals.

It normally means your motor mounts are POS's.

You could just bolt a chain to the inner fender from the head

yes its much more than normal, is there any chance this could be linked to the backfiring?

no, but you should still fix them. Is it backfiring on acceleration or deceleration? Mine does it on deceleration, which is normal.

like shotgun bang type backfire? Well that is bad, you are more than likely loading up on fuel due to bad O2's or dirty MAF...
