Went to the dyno and...

It went AWESOME!!!!!!! First run it pulled 328rwhp and 312rwtq. After a couple hours of tuning...and opening the cut out...351.2rwhp and 364.9 rwtq!!!!! Peak hp was at 6400rpm and peak tq was at 3700rpm. Not too shabby for an auto with stock heads.

When I dynoed last year with the CC305 and shorty headers it put down 298.7rwhp and 316.6rwtq. So I gained 52.5 peak hp (and also through out most of the power curve) and 48.3 peak tq.

Needless to say I am very very happy. Now to get to the track and get some numbers!!!!!

Haven't had any issues yet...[crosses fingers, bites tounge, and knocks on wood] The tuning wasn't too bad. Only took about 2 hours since he already had my old tune from last time I was there and only had to do 7 pulls versus 13 last time.

Nope, that was last year with a bad coil and 3,000 foot air. I will be going to the track within the next two weeks to get new numbers. I am looking for a mid 12.

Congrats Nick!

I will be heading up to Hi Tech for my dyno tune probably next weekend. Those are definitely some awesome numbers for a stock head car! Do you have the graph online anywhere?

I will try to scan it at work today. Let me know when you are planning on going, I may swing out there to see how it's going. 651-470-4252

Here is a link to the dyno sheet comparing my CC305 and shorty headers with my CC306 and long tubes and cut out.

Re: Went to the dyno and...

I've also got long tubes and had the cut out open. With the cut out closed it made 339.2rwhp and 380.1rwtq.
