Were to get a oil filter magnet? I have seen ones before that fit over the bottom of the filter but forgot were. BTW, I just got a Summit drain plug magnet and the magnet on it really suxs. It will not stick to anything.

I'm using magnets from a harddrive. One for the bottom of the oil filter and one on the drain plug.

Wow, 60 bucks. It's nice though.

I knocked a ceramic magnet off the back of an old busted speaker. It was just about the diameter of the filter. Never lost it but I did find it on the frame next to the filter once. Cutting the filter apart sure did show where it had been.
