what dual valve springs for the 306 cam?

Just wondering what everybody is using with the 306 comp cam. I don't like the 918 that comp says to use because I broke 8 out of 16 on my LS1. What is a good dual spring?

well I just don't trust the single spring anymore since they just about destroyed my LS1. I like the piece of mind with a daul spring

very true but with a dual you have one more spring to hold the valve from bashing the piston. Normally both of them don't break

Go to Comp's website and see what they recommend.

You can put a 1.460 OD spring on a stock head? No machining?
