JMHO .
I totally agree with you man. My aim was not to ridicule people for different opinions. The original poster was "ridiculed" for wanting to use them. I was just giving it back to help the guy out. Edelbrock heads outflow LT4 heads by the way, and with smaller valves. Does that mean they really suck?

Where is this proof at? Last time I checked they barely outdid stock heads.

There's a reason why most of the people on this board that know better avoid those heads. Otherwise guys would be picking them up left and right. I bet Edeljunk probably has a surplus on those pieces of junk.

Re: What to expect?

I think you are still missing the fact the Edelbrocks are lightly ported right from Edelbrock and you are now trying to compare them to truely mass produced as cast LT4s, put 3 hours into a pair of LT4s and then let's see who wins the flow test.
That brings up another point though flow does not directly equal speed and power, there have been a few discussions on LT4s as applied to 350/355s and Ed Wright will side with those of us who say despite the flow they are not a good choice. He says they dyno well but are not the fastest down the track ported or not. Point being the track means the most the dyno second best and flow while being the easiest measurement we can compare is probably the worst of those three test as far as meaning anything.
